Computer mounts for integrated cockpits

A computer mount for one cockpit: yours

Syncros at 45 mm, Zipp SL-80, Most Talon: factory mounts fit one stem and often skip the newest Edge. We draw yours for the faceplate bolts or the cockpit's own threads, with a lamp point below. Got a CP0018 and an Edge 1040? Canyon's own mount fits; we're for the lamp underneath.

Top-view drawing of an integrated bar: on the left a round-bar out-front clamped on the short round section and tilted where the carbon flares, on the right our arm under two faceplate bolts, square to the stem.
Off the shelf: a 31.8 mm out-front on the few millimetres of round bar, tilted by the flare.Ours: an arm under two faceplate bolts on steel sleeves, square to the stem, with a lamp point below.

Why it fails

Why nothing fits an integrated bar

Most out-front mounts clamp a 31.8 mm round section. An integrated bar has none, or a few millimetres before the carbon flares, so the mount sits crooked. A stem with a four-bolt faceplate gives us two of its bolts to sit under, on steel sleeves. Many one-piece cockpits have threads underneath for the maker's own mount, and we use those.

What we'd draw for your bike

Out-front for faceplate bolts 45 mm apart

Sits under two of your faceplate bolts on steel sleeves, so the stem still clamps metal on metal, and puts the Edge 1050 out front, 70 mm ahead of the faceplate, with a lamp point below.

Render of the charcoal arm held on two faceplate bolts of a grey stem, carrying an Edge 1050-size computer centred 70 mm ahead of the faceplate, with a small lamp on aluminium GoPro prongs underneath and a tether looped round the bar.

Combo for a one-piece cockpit, lamp point included

Screws into the threads your cockpit already has under the stem, with a GoPro point 25 mm lower for a lamp, which many factory mounts have no room for.

Render of the charcoal mount under the stem of a grey one-piece cockpit, on a thin TPU pad, its riser with a window standing in front of the bar and an Edge 1040-size computer on top; a lamp hangs from aluminium GoPro prongs 25 mm below the bar and a tether loops round the bar.

Riders' posts

What riders posted

From forums, not from customers

  • May 2026 Scott Addict 20 (2026) with a Syncros ST-R300 stem, faceplate bolts 45 mm apart, and an Edge 1050. Syncros no longer lists this stem for its own out-front, Framesandgear said theirs won't take the 1050 on it, and the band mount from the box looks wrong on a road stem. Two months of searching AliExpress found nothing.
  • September 2026 Canyon CF 8 gravel bike with a CP0045 aero bar, an Edge 1040 and now and then a lamp. Canyon's own mount has nothing underneath for a light, and most others looked too short for a 1040. The rider ordered a Framesandgear mount made for the CP0045, about 300 zł, and found it solid off-road.
  • October 2026 Karoo 3 on a gravel bike with a Zipp SL-80 bar. The stock mount sits crooked because there's very little room before the carbon widens. The rider paid €55 for Zipp's QuickView for SL stems, and another rider in the thread would pay the same.
  • October 2026 Karoo 3 on a 2025 Pinarello Dogma F with a Most Talon Ultra Fast cockpit. The rider asked which mount fits. Replies suggested a Garmin mount with an adapter, and nobody could confirm one.
  • May 2026 An integrated carbon aero bar whose computer mount had no GoPro point for a headlight. The mount's maker wanted $80 plus shipping for a whole new mount; a $10 bolt-on adapter did the job. For another buyer the same adapter's holes didn't line up with a K-Edge.

Limits

We don't make these: what to buy

We bolt to metal, to accessory threads, or where your radar's band sits today. We never make or modify brakes or steering parts, or anything that holds a rack or a child seat.

  • A new faceplate with the mount built in → Zipp QuickView for the SL Sprint stem, €78, or an Easton EA90 stem with a Garmin faceplate, $99.99The faceplate holds your bar, so we don't make one.
  • A clamp around a carbon bar → K-Edge Max XL Combo, $69.99, on a 31.8 mm round sectionWe never print a clamp for a carbon bar.
  • Wahoo ELEMNT ACE (208 g) → Framesandgear's aluminium ACE mounts, from €67, for the cockpits on their listIt's over the 170 g our printed arm is rated for.
  • Clip-on aerobars on a carbon cockpit → An adapter made for that cockpit, like Deda's TT 314 for the Rose Shave, €267.20, or a round bar and stemAerobars carry your weight, so we don't make them.
  • A dropper or lockout remote with no room on the bar → Wolf Tooth ReMote Light Action, $54.95, in the mount your brake lever takes, or Shimano SL-MT800-IL for I-Spec EV, £49.99Nothing we make bolts to a brake lever's shifter mount.
  • A mount on the stem's top cap → The faceplate arm aboveThe top cap sets the headset preload, so we leave it alone.

FAQ

Questions before you order

Is it safe to put a part under the faceplate bolts?

The arm sits under two of the four faceplate bolts. Each bolt runs through a full-height steel sleeve, so the bar clamp still closes metal on metal. We use your stem maker's bolt grade in the right length, with its torque and tightening order, and check the head seat, the thread engagement and that the bolt can't bottom out. Four-bolt faceplates only. Each of the three designs gets the same check before its first part ships: 50 N hung on it for a minute, 30 km on cobbles, then a torque re-check. As of October 2026 these designs are drawn and rendered; photos of the first test prints will go on this page.

Will an Edge 1050 fit?

It fits: the top is rated 170 g, and an Edge 1050 is 161 g. The 1050 fouls the faceplate or the bar on many older out-fronts; riders on Garmin's forum put it down to a moved mounting tab. Syncros's own mount for the ST-R300 excludes the 1050. We set the cup from your device's size, at least 4 mm clear of the faceplate and the bar, and the drawing shows that gap before you pay.

Can I swap Garmin, Wahoo and Karoo?

The top has a pocket for a bought K-Edge insert, held by two M3 screws into brass. K-Edge makes one for Garmin's quarter-turn, one for Wahoo ELEMNT and BOLT and one for the Karoo 2. A Karoo 3 comes with Hammerhead's adapter for Garmin mounts, so it rides on the Garmin insert. Changing devices means two screws and a different insert. The drawing names the insert we buy for yours.

Can it carry a lamp and a GoPro?

One at a time. Underneath is one bought aluminium GoPro mount on a brass M5 insert, rated 150 g for the lamp or camera together with its bracket. A GoPro HERO13 Black is 159 g and a Magicshine Hori 1300 is 151 g, so both are too heavy for it. If your mount already has two spare holes underneath, our GoPro plate carries 200 g in total below that mount, plate, adapter and bolts included, unless your mount is rated lower. For a heavier lamp, see the front-light mounts. The lamp's tether goes round the bar.

My cockpit is an unbranded Chinese one.

Send photos of the underside, straight on and from the side, with a ruler across the threaded holes. If you can take one of its bolts out, photograph that too. We draw from the photos and mark in red any number we still need, with how to measure it. You pay only after you approve the drawing. If the cockpit has no threads underneath and no separate faceplate, there's nothing for us to bolt to, and we tell you that straight away.
